Multiple Myeloma is a type of blood cancer that originates from long-lived plasma cells. These plasma cells play a crucial role in producing antibodies and immunoglobulins. When their function is compromised, patients with Multiple Myoma accumulate abnormal proteins, which disrupt the functioning of the bone marrow, kidneys, and other organs.
